Engaging again and again in dialogue with people is what makes Rainer Gerstmayr’s work so interesting. With an open and respectful manner, he values close dialogue with clients, partners, and colleagues.

He enjoys to combine seriousness with humour, professionalism with a relaxed approach. Developing solutions, often together with colleagues, clients, and business partners, particularly in uncommon or complex cases—is, for him, the true “spice of the job.” 

After studying business administration in Braunschweig and Göttingen, Rainer Gerstmayr graduated in 1990 with a  Diplom‑Kaufmann degree. Than he spent seven years with a Big Four firm in Bremen. During this time, he developed close working relationships with medium‑sized, owner‑managed, and traditionally Hanseatic companies. Since 1997 he has been a partner at WSG as a certified public auditor and tax advisor.

He has been married to Sybille Gerstmayr since 1990, together they have two sons and a daughter. In his spare time Rainer Gerstmayr enjoys being with family and friends, valuing relaxed moments together, often in the kitchen or around the grill. When time allows, he enjoys spending time outdoors, boating and fishing.
