We have been advising Bremen since 1983
We are Bremen natives, Hanseatics in the best sense of the word. That means we do what we say we will do. You can rely on us for all matters relating to auditing and tax consulting. We see our mandates as providing professional and personal advice – in direct exchange from entrepreneur to entrepreneur. Because our business involves much more than just numbers. It requires intensive support on an equal footing and clear, open communication so that respect and trust can develop for long-term cooperation with our clients – especially medium-sized companies from the region and nationwide.
Having grown steadily since 1983, we now operate from one location with three companies. We employ almost 50 people. Our headquarters are located in Villa Wolde on Bremen's Osterdeich, a historic building that has been renovated to meet contemporary standards. A building as Hanseatic as we see ourselves.
Villa Wolde through the years
An overview of recent years
1983:
Founded as BMT Hanseatische Treuhandelsgesellschaft mbH Steuerberatungsgesellschaft, a tax consulting firm based in Bremen.
1997:
Wolfgang Wingerning acquires all shares. Felix Senge and Rainer Gerstmayr also join the company. Four years later, the company is renamed WSG Hanseatische Treuhandgesellschaft mbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (WSG Hanseatic Trust Company Limited, Auditing Company) in reference to the names of the shareholders.
1998:
Relocation to Villa Wolde on Osterdeich after extensive renovation in close cooperation with the owner – himself a client of WSG. The villa, built between 1896 and 1898 during the historicism era, is a listed building.
2001:
Establishment of a branch office in Sittensen, managed by auditor Hans-Peter Willenbrock, who also joined the circle of shareholders.

Our commitment
Kunst fördert Kunst E.V.
Kunst fördert Kunst e.V. is an association that combines cultural and social engagement.
The idea follows a three-step process: artists and collectors donate modern art for a good cause. The proceeds are used to organise a concert where talented young musicians are given the unique opportunity to perform alongside a top orchestra – such as the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen – in one of Europe's finest concert halls, the Glocke in Bremen. The proceeds from the concert are then donated to other cultural and social projects.
Our partner Rainer Gerstmayr is a member of Kunst fördert Kunst e.V. and a sculpture by Markus Lüpertz belonging to the association is already on display in the meeting room – the Bremen Town Musicians, of course.
